Derrickman

Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Derrickman to join our team. The Derrickman will be responsible for operating and maintaining drilling equipment, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and contributing to the overall efficiency of drilling operations. This role requires a strong understanding of oil and gas exploration and production processes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain the derrick and associated drilling equipment.
- Assist the driller in controlling the speed and operation of the drill.
- Monitor drilling operations and report any irregularities to the driller.
- Ensure all safety procedures and regulations are strictly adhered to.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on drilling equipment.
- Keep the derrick floor clean and organized.
- Load and unload equipment and materials from the drill floor.
- Participate in pre-job safety meetings and toolbox talks.
- Maintain accurate records of drilling operations and equipment status.
