Role Summary:
Marriott International is seeking a talented and innovative Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. The Design Engineer will be responsible for the conceptualization, development, and refinement of innovative design solutions for our hotel properties and operational systems, ensuring alignment with brand standards, sustainability goals, and guest experience objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute design concepts for new hotel projects, renovations, and F&B outlets.
- Create detailed technical drawings, specifications, and 3D models using CAD software.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, interior designers, project managers, and operations to ensure design feasibility and integration.
- Research and recommend innovative materials, technologies, and sustainable design practices.
- Conduct site visits and assessments to gather information and ensure design intent is met during construction.
- Prepare design presentations and reports for stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot design challenges and propose effective solutions.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and brand standards.
