Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Design Engineer with 3-4 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Pune. The ideal candidate will possess a B.Sc degree and have a strong understanding of design principles within the iron and steel industry. You will be responsible for contributing to the design and development of various engineering projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine engineering designs for steel plant equipment and processes.
- Create detailed technical drawings, schematics, and models using CAD software.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, R&D, and project management, to ensure design feasibility and integration.
- Conduct design reviews and analyses to identify potential issues and propose solutions.
- Perform calculations for structural integrity, material selection, and performance optimization.
- Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, including specifications and reports.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in design engineering.
