We are seeking a motivated Design Engineer with 2-3 years of experience and an M.Com background to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will contribute to the design and development of innovative products within the sports and leisure & recreation sector. You will leverage your analytical skills to understand market trends, customer needs, and cost implications, ensuring our designs are not only aesthetically pleasing and functional but also commercially viable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product managers and marketing teams to translate market insights and customer feedback into design concepts for sports and leisure products.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the sports and leisure industry.
- Develop detailed design specifications, including materials, dimensions, and manufacturing processes, considering cost-effectiveness and feasibility.
- Utilize your M.Com knowledge to analyze product profitability, pricing strategies, and supply chain economics.
- Create 2D and 3D design prototypes and technical drawings using relevant software.
- Work closely with manufacturing partners to ensure designs are translated accurately and efficiently into production.
- Contribute to product testing and quality assurance processes, providing feedback for design improvements.
