Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and motivated Desktop Engineer with 1-3 years of experience to join our IT team in Chandigarh. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our desktop infrastructure, supporting our employees in the food processing industry. The ideal candidate will possess a BBA/BBM degree and a strong understanding of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain desktop hardware and software applications.
Provide timely and effective technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, escalating complex problems as needed.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
Perform regular system maintenance, including updates, patches, and backups.
Document IT procedures, user guides, and troubleshooting steps.
Assist in the procurement and inventory management of IT assets.
Ensure compliance with company IT policies and security best practices.
