Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Desktop Engineer with a Master of Technology (M.Tech) degree to join our dynamic IT team in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, managing, and maintaining our organization's desktop infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction. This role is suitable for individuals with 1-4 years of experience looking to grow their career in a leading software product MNC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
- Perform regular system maintenance, including updates, patches, and security configurations.
- Develop and implement desktop imaging and deployment strategies.
- Monitor system performance and identify potential issues.
- Document IT procedures, policies, and troubleshooting guides.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve complex technical problems.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies and security standards.
- Assist in the procurement and inventory management of IT assets.
