Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated DevOps Manager to lead our DevOps initiatives within the Metals & Mining sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of our CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and automation strategies to enhance operational efficiency and reliability across our diverse mining and processing operations. This role requires a strong understanding of both traditional IT infrastructure and modern cloud-native technologies, with a focus on driving innovation and best practices in a demanding industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, implementation, and management of CI/CD pipelines for various applications and infrastructure components.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) for scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop and enforce automation strategies for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment.
- Implement and maintain robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure high availability and performance.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to foster a DevOps culture and drive continuous improvement.
- Define and implement infrastructure as code (IaC) principles using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and security best practices.
- Mentor and guide junior DevOps engineers.
