Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Director - Architecture to lead the design and implementation of our technology architecture. This role will be instrumental in shaping the future of our creative pipelines, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and innovation. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Animation & VFX industry's technical challenges and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and evolve the overall technology architecture strategy for the company, aligning with business objectives.
- Lead the design and development of scalable, robust, and secure technology solutions for animation, VFX, and post-production workflows.
- Oversee the selection and implementation of new technologies and tools to enhance creative capabilities and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of architectural solutions.
- Mentor and guide a team of architects and engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
- Establish and enforce architectural standards, best practices, and governance frameworks.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for competitive advantage.
- Manage technology roadmaps and ensure alignment with project timelines and budget constraints.
- Drive the adoption of cloud-native architectures and microservices where appropriate.
- Ensure the architecture supports data security, integrity, and compliance requirements.
