Role Summary:
Pratham Education Foundation is seeking a visionary and experienced Director - Architecture to lead the development and implementation of our organizational technology architecture. This role will be instrumental in shaping the technological future of our educational initiatives, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency across all platforms and systems. The Director - Architecture will work closely with program teams, IT staff, and external partners to align technology strategy with Pratham's mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the overall technology architecture roadmap for Pratham, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and operational needs.
- Design and oversee the implementation of scalable, secure, and robust technology solutions for educational programs, data management, and operational systems.
- Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, platforms, and vendors to support Pratham's initiatives.
- Lead architectural design reviews and provide technical guidance to development teams.
- Ensure adherence to architectural standards, best practices, and governance frameworks.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across programs and departments to understand their technology requirements and translate them into architectural designs.
- Manage technology risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Mentor and guide junior technical staff.
