Role Summary: The Director - Medical Services will be responsible for overseeing and managing all medical operations within the hospital, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and driving the strategic direction of medical services. This leadership role requires a visionary individual with a strong clinical background and proven management expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans for medical services to align with the hospital's overall mission and objectives.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and best practices in healthcare delivery.
- Lead and manage a team of medical professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and patient safety.
- Oversee the development and implementation of clinical protocols, treatment guidelines, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Manage the medical budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with other hospital departments and external stakeholders to enhance patient care and service delivery.
- Promote research and academic activities within the medical services department.
