Job Description
We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Director of Photography to lead our visual storytelling efforts for educational content. You will be responsible for the overall look and feel of our video productions, ensuring they are engaging, informative, and align with our brand's educational mission. This role requires a strong understanding of visual aesthetics, lighting, composition, and camera techniques, with a focus on creating compelling learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the visual style and concept for all video productions, ensuring high-quality cinematic output.
- Collaborate with directors, producers, and instructional designers to translate educational concepts into visually compelling narratives.
- Oversee all aspects of cinematography, including camera selection, lens choices, lighting setups, and framing.
- Manage and mentor camera and lighting crews, ensuring efficient and effective execution of the production vision.
- Ensure consistency in visual quality and brand representation across all video assets.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in cinematography and video production.
- Manage the cinematography budget and equipment resources effectively.
