Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director - Program Management to lead and oversee critical automotive component programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background with an M.Tech degree and 3-4 years of experience in program management within the auto components industry. You will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of complex projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership and communication skills to drive cross-functional teams and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple complex automotive component development and manufacturing programs from initiation to closure.
- Develop and execute comprehensive program plans, including scope, schedule, budget, resources, and risk management.
- Collaborate closely with R&D, engineering, manufacturing, quality, and sales teams to ensure program alignment and successful product launch.
- Manage program risks and issues, proactively identifying potential challenges and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Track program performance against key metrics and provide regular status updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies throughout the program lifecycle.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment, motivating and guiding cross-functional program teams.
- Manage supplier relationships and ensure timely delivery of components and services.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within program management processes.
