Role Summary: The Distribution Supervisor will oversee and manage all aspects of the warehouse and distribution operations, ensuring efficient and timely flow of goods. This role is crucial for maintaining inventory accuracy, optimizing logistics, and supporting the overall supply chain efficiency of Decathlon India's retail network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, warehousing, inventory control, and dispatch.
- Manage and train warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and company policies.
- Implement and maintain accurate inventory management systems and processes.
- Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization for maximum efficiency.
- Coordinate with transportation and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to distribution and inventory.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
