Distribution Supervisor

Role Summary: The Distribution Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and timely distribution of materials, equipment, and finished goods across various project sites and warehouses within L&T's extensive operations in India. This role is crucial for ensuring project timelines are met by maintaining optimal inventory levels and smooth logistical flow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the distribution department.
• Supervise a team of warehouse staff, drivers, and logistics personnel.
• Ensure accurate inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and dispatching of goods.
• Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Monitor and maintain the condition of distribution vehicles and equipment.
• Implement and enforce safety regulations and procedures within the distribution center.
• Liaise with procurement, project management, and other departments to meet distribution needs.
• Prepare regular reports on distribution activities, inventory levels, and performance metrics.
• Identify and resolve any logistical issues or discrepancies promptly.
