Dock Master

Role Summary: The Dock Master will be responsible for overseeing and managing the efficient and safe operation of the company's IT infrastructure docking stations and associated equipment. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to hardware connectivity and power management within a large-scale IT environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of all IT docking stations, including charging ports, data transfer capabilities, and peripheral connections.
• Monitor power supply and ensure optimal energy management for all connected devices.
• Perform routine inspections and diagnostic checks to identify and resolve hardware or connectivity issues.
• Manage inventory of docking station components and accessories, ensuring adequate stock levels.
• Collaborate with IT support teams to escalate and resolve complex technical problems.
• Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory changes.
• Adhere to all company IT security policies and procedures.
• Provide basic user support for docking station related queries.
