Dock Master

Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and meticulous Dock Master to oversee and manage all aspects of our event logistics and inventory at our Indore venue. The Dock Master will be responsible for the efficient and safe handling, storage, and dispatch of all equipment and materials, ensuring smooth operations for our live entertainment events. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of supply chain principles and a keen eye for detail, ideally with 3-6 years of experience and a postgraduate degree.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the receiving, inspection, and storage of all event-related equipment and materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking stock levels, usage, and returns.
- Coordinate the timely dispatch of equipment to various event sites, ensuring all necessary documentation is in order.
- Implement and enforce strict safety protocols for handling, loading, and unloading of goods.
- Oversee the organization and cleanliness of the dock area and storage facilities.
- Liaise with event managers, production teams, and external vendors to ensure logistical requirements are met.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Manage a small team of dockhands, providing training and supervision.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any logistical challenges that arise during event setup and execution.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies regarding material handling and storage.
