Dock Master

Role Summary: The Dock Master will be responsible for overseeing and managing the efficient and safe operation of the company's logistics and shipping dock. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate movement of goods and materials. The Dock Master will play a crucial role in maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring the smooth flow of inbound and outbound shipments within the IT services environment.

• Manage and coordinate all inbound and outbound shipping activities.
• Ensure accurate receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
• Supervise dock personnel, providing guidance and training.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment on the dock.
• Optimize dock space utilization and workflow efficiency.
• Coordinate with logistics providers, carriers, and internal departments.
• Implement and enforce company policies and safety regulations.
• Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to dock operations.
• Manage inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts.
• Handle any discrepancies or issues related to shipments promptly.
