Job Description
Role Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Doctor specializing in Occupational Health to join our team at our mining operations in India. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and maintaining the health and well-being of our employees, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and managing workplace health programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive medical care to employees, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of occupational and non-occupational illnesses and injuries.
Conduct pre-employment, periodic, and return-to-work medical examinations.
Develop and implement occupational health surveillance programs to monitor employee exposure to workplace hazards.
Advise management on health and safety policies, procedures, and risk assessments.
Manage and maintain medical records and ensure confidentiality.
Organize and conduct health education and wellness programs for employees.
Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid and advanced life support as needed.
Ensure compliance with all relevant Indian occupational health and safety legislation.
