Job Description

Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Doctor - Other. This entry-level position is ideal for M.Sc graduates looking to contribute to public health initiatives within the HIV/AIDS sector. The role involves supporting various program activities, data collection, and community outreach efforts under the guidance of senior medical professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of HIV/AIDS prevention and control programs at the district or state level.
- Support in data collection, entry, and preliminary analysis for program monitoring and evaluation.
- Participate in community awareness campaigns and health education sessions.
- Collaborate with healthcare workers and other stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports as required.
- Conduct basic health screenings and provide health information to targeted populations.
- Stay updated with the latest developments and best practices in HIV/AIDS management and public health.

About National AIDS Control Organisation

The National AIDS Control Organisation (NACO) is a division under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. Established in 1992, NACO is the apex body that formulates policies, implements programs, and sets standards for HIV/AIDS prevention and control in India. It works through a network of State AIDS Control Societies (SACS) and District AIDS Prevention and Control Units (DAPCU) to deliver services and interventions across the country. NACO plays a crucial role in coordinating efforts to achieve the goals of HIV/AIDS prevention, care, support, and treatment.
