Drama / Theater Teacher

Role Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Drama / Theater Teacher to join our team in Surat. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic educator with 2-6 years of experience who is passionate about fostering creativity and performance skills in young learners. The teacher will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging drama and theater programs that encourage self-expression, confidence, and collaborative learning. This position does not require a post-graduation degree.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement a comprehensive drama curriculum for various age groups, focusing on foundational acting techniques, improvisation, scriptwriting, and stagecraft.
- Conduct engaging and interactive drama classes, workshops, and rehearsals that cater to different learning styles.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment where students feel encouraged to explore their creativity and take risks.
- Develop students' performance skills, including voice projection, body language, character development, and stage presence.
- Organize and direct student performances, showcases, and theatrical productions, managing all aspects from concept to execution.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to integrate drama activities into broader educational programs.
- Provide constructive feedback to students on their progress and performance.
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom or performance space.
- Stay updated with contemporary theater trends and pedagogical approaches.
