Job Description

Role Summary:
The Draughtsman will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and blueprints for various infrastructure projects, security systems, and operational facilities managed by the CRPF. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to translate conceptual designs into accurate graphical representations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare detailed technical drawings, plans, and blueprints using CAD software.
* Interpret architectural and engineering designs and specifications.
* Create drawings for building layouts, security system installations, and operational infrastructure.
* Ensure drawings comply with relevant Indian standards and regulations.
* Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other technical staff to refine designs.
* Maintain accurate records of all drawings and revisions.
* Perform site visits to gather information and verify existing conditions as needed.
* Assist in the preparation of bill of quantities and material estimates based on drawings.
* Review and update existing drawings to reflect modifications or as-built conditions.

About CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force)

The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) is the primary central police force of India. It is one of the largest paramilitary forces in the world. The CRPF was established by an Act of Parliament of India on 27th July 1939 as the Crown Representative's Police. It was renamed as the Central Reserve Police Force on 28th December 1949. The CRPF is a nodal agency to provide security to the nation during elections, riots, and other internal security duties. It also plays a crucial role in counter-insurgency operations and anti-terrorism activities. The force is deployed across India for internal security management, disaster management, and VIP security.
