Draughtsman - Furniture & Furnishing Sector (3-5 Yrs)

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Draughtsman with 3-5 years of experience to join our Furniture & Furnishing division in Indore. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor of Design (B.Des) degree and have a strong understanding of furniture design principles and manufacturing processes. As a Draughtsman, you will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and specifications for furniture products, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design intent and manufacturing standards. You will collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and production teams to translate concepts into production-ready drawings. This role requires a keen eye for detail, proficiency in CAD software, and the ability to communicate technical information effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for furniture components and assemblies, including dimensions, material specifications, and finishes.
- Develop technical drawings for manufacturing, ensuring clarity and precision for the production team.
- Interpret design sketches, concepts, and specifications provided by designers and engineers.
- Create Bills of Materials (BOMs) and ensure their accuracy.
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback from design, engineering, and manufacturing departments.
- Collaborate with the product development team to ensure designs are feasible for manufacturing and meet quality standards.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date drawing archives and documentation.
- Assist in the creation of prototypes and testing by providing necessary technical drawings.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in furniture design and CAD technologies.
