Dredge Master / Mate

Role Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dredge Master / Mate to oversee and manage dredging operations. This role requires a deep understanding of maritime operations, safety protocols, and efficient resource management. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth functioning of dredging equipment and personnel, contributing to the successful completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of dredging operations, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
• Manage and supervise the crew, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and operational procedures.
• Ensure the proper maintenance and operation of dredging vessels and equipment.
• Monitor dredging progress and adjust operations as needed to meet project timelines and objectives.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of all dredging activities, including production, fuel consumption, and personnel.
• Implement and enforce all safety and environmental regulations.
• Coordinate with onshore management and other stakeholders regarding project status and requirements.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions.
