Drilling Engineer

Role Summary: The Drilling Engineer will be responsible for the planning, execution, and optimization of drilling operations. This role requires a deep understanding of drilling techniques, equipment, and safety protocols to ensure efficient and safe well construction. The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives within budget and schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed drilling plans and programs, including wellbore trajectory, casing design, cementing, and completion strategies.
• Supervise drilling operations on-site or remotely, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and company policies.
• Monitor drilling performance, analyze data, and implement adjustments to optimize drilling efficiency and minimize non-productive time (NPT).
• Manage and procure drilling equipment, materials, and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans for potential drilling hazards.
• Prepare daily drilling reports, post-well analyses, and final drilling performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with geologists, reservoir engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure well objectives are met.
• Stay updated with the latest drilling technologies, best practices, and industry trends.
