Driver - Biotechnology (1-3 Yrs Exp)

Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Driver to join our dynamic Biotechnology team in Vishakhapatnam. The ideal candidate will possess an M.Tech degree and 1-3 years of experience, demonstrating a strong understanding of the scientific and operational needs of a biotechnology startup. You will be responsible for safe and efficient transportation of personnel, samples, and materials, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to all safety protocols. This role requires a unique blend of technical acumen and practical execution, supporting our research and development activities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Safely operate company vehicles for the transportation of laboratory samples, equipment, and personnel to and from various locations within Vishakhapatnam and surrounding areas.
- Ensure the integrity and security of biological samples and sensitive materials during transit, adhering to all bio-safety guidelines and temperature control requirements.
- Maintain accurate logs of all journeys, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery confirmations.
- Perform routine checks on vehicle maintenance, including oil, tire pressure, and cleanliness, and report any mechanical issues promptly.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of materials, ensuring proper handling and storage.
- Navigate efficiently using GPS and other navigation tools, planning optimal routes to minimize travel time.
- Uphold all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Collaborate with research and logistics teams to coordinate pick-up and delivery schedules.
- Provide basic technical assistance related to sample handling or equipment movement as needed, leveraging M.Tech knowledge.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and represent the company positively.
