Job Description
Role Summary: The Due Diligence Analyst will be responsible for conducting comprehensive due diligence on potential business partners, suppliers, and acquisition targets within the FMCG sector in India. This role is critical in assessing risks, ensuring compliance, and supporting strategic decision-making for ITC Limited.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough background checks on potential vendors, distributors, and acquisition targets, including financial, legal, operational, and reputational aspects.
- Analyze financial statements, business plans, and market data to identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Review legal and regulatory compliance, including anti-corruption, data privacy, and industry-specific regulations in India.
- Prepare detailed due diligence reports summarizing findings, risk assessments, and recommendations.
- Collaborate with internal legal, finance, and business development teams to gather information and validate findings.
- Stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in due diligence within the Indian FMCG landscape.
