EDA Tools Engineer - Internet Sector (3-4 Yrs)

Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented EDA Tools Engineer with 3-4 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Pune. This role involves supporting and optimizing the Electronic Design Automation (EDA) toolchain used for semiconductor design within our internet sector projects. While a technical background in engineering is common, we are specifically looking for candidates with a BBA/BBM degree who possess a strong analytical mindset and a keen interest in technology operations and process management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of various EDA software tools (e.g., Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor Graphics).
- Provide technical support to design engineers, troubleshooting tool-related issues and ensuring smooth workflow.
- Develop and maintain scripts (e.g., Tcl, Python, Perl) to automate routine tasks and improve tool efficiency.
- Manage software licenses and ensure compliance with licensing agreements.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve complex technical challenges.
- Contribute to the development and documentation of best practices for EDA tool usage.
- Monitor tool performance and identify areas for optimization and improvement.
- Assist in evaluating new EDA tools and technologies to enhance the design process.
- Manage project timelines and resources for tool deployment and upgrades, leveraging business and management skills.
