Job Description

Role Summary: The Editorial Specialist will be responsible for creating, editing, and proofreading a wide range of content related to Air India's operations, services, and brand. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of aviation terminology, and the ability to adapt content for various platforms including print, online, and electronic media. The ideal candidate will contribute to maintaining the quality and consistency of all published materials.

Key Responsibilities:

Edit and proofread press releases, website copy, social media posts, internal communications, and marketing materials to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to brand guidelines.

Develop and maintain style guides and editorial calendars for various content streams.

Collaborate with marketing, communications, and operational teams to understand content needs and objectives.

Research and fact-check information to ensure the accuracy of all published content, especially technical aviation details.

Adapt content for different audiences and platforms, ensuring it is engaging and effective.

Manage the flow of content from creation to publication, ensuring timely delivery.

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in content editing and aviation.
