Role Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer with a specialization in mining operations to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical systems within mining projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical systems for mining equipment, substations, and power distribution networks.
- Oversee the installation, commissioning, and testing of electrical infrastructure in mining sites.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in underground and open-pit mining environments.
- Ensure adherence to all safety regulations, codes, and standards relevant to electrical work in mining.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of electrical equipment, including motors, generators, transformers, and control systems.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and project proposals.
- Collaborate with project managers, geologists, and other engineers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Implement and optimize energy management systems for mining operations.
