Role Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Engineer with a specialization in mining operations to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all electrical systems and infrastructure within our mining projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy-duty electrical equipment, power distribution, and automation in a mining environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, install, and maintain electrical systems and equipment for mining operations, including power generation, distribution, and control systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in heavy mining machinery and infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, electrical codes, and environmental standards specific to the mining industry.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for electrical equipment to minimize downtime.
- Manage electrical project timelines, budgets, and resources.
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and operational teams to optimize electrical system performance.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in electrical engineering and mining technology.
