Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer with a unique background, including an LLB degree, to join our Industrial Automation division. This role is crucial for overseeing electrical systems within mining operations, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. The ideal candidate will leverage their technical electrical engineering knowledge and legal acumen to manage projects, mitigate risks, and ensure operational efficiency and safety. You will be instrumental in bridging the gap between technical execution and legal/regulatory frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain electrical systems for mining projects, ensuring adherence to safety and operational standards.
Review and interpret electrical engineering plans, schematics, and technical specifications.
Utilize LLB knowledge to ensure all electrical installations and operations comply with Indian mining laws, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
Conduct legal and technical risk assessments for electrical systems in mining environments.
Liaise with legal counsel, regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders to resolve compliance issues.
Prepare and review legal documentation related to electrical equipment procurement, contracts, and project execution.
Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide technical solutions, considering regulatory implications.
Stay updated on changes in electrical engineering best practices and relevant Indian legislation.
