Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Electrician with an M.Pharma degree to join our IT services team in Thane. This role is crucial for ensuring the reliable operation and maintenance of electrical systems within our technology infrastructure. While the primary focus will be on electrical duties, the M.Pharma background will be valued for its emphasis on precision, analytical thinking, and adherence to stringent protocols, which are transferable skills in a regulated IT environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and backup power solutions within IT facilities.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, ensuring minimal downtime for critical IT operations.
- Install and upgrade electrical equipment and components as per specifications and safety standards.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of specialized IT equipment requiring precise electrical configurations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory.
- Collaborate with IT and facilities teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical services with technological infrastructure.
- Apply principles of scientific methodology and data analysis, akin to pharmaceutical research, to identify root causes of recurring electrical issues and propose preventative measures.
- Adhere to strict quality control and safety procedures, reflecting the meticulous standards expected in the pharmaceutical industry.
