Electrician - Urban Transport (3-4 Yrs Exp)

Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrician with 3-4 years of experience to join our Urban Transport team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems within our metro infrastructure. While a background in MCA is unusual for this role, we are open to candidates with a strong technical aptitude and a proven ability to manage complex electrical systems, potentially leveraging their MCA skills for data analysis related to system performance or diagnostics.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, inspect, test, and maintain electrical systems, equipment, and components, including power supply, lighting, signaling, and communication systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and breakdowns, implementing timely and effective repairs.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand electrical layouts and specifications.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant safety regulations, codes, and standards.
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment to minimize downtime.
- Work with control panels, transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical apparatus.
- Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately.
- Collaborate with other engineering and maintenance teams to ensure seamless operation of the metro system.
- Potentially utilize MCA knowledge for analyzing electrical system performance data and identifying areas for improvement or predictive maintenance.
