Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Electrocardiogram (ECG) Technician to join our health and wellness team within HDFC Bank's corporate employee support services. The ECG Technician will be responsible for performing ECG tests accurately and efficiently to assist in the early detection and monitoring of cardiac conditions among our employees. This role is crucial in supporting our commitment to employee well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform electrocardiograms (ECGs) on patients as per physician's orders and established protocols.
- Prepare patients for ECG procedures, explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and understanding.
- Properly attach electrodes to the patient's body and ensure clear, artifact-free tracings.
- Operate ECG equipment accurately and maintain it in good working order.
- Recognize and report any abnormalities or significant findings in the ECG tracings to the supervising physician or healthcare provider.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all relevant healthcare regulations and hospital policies.
- Clean and sterilize ECG equipment and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Accurately document patient information and test results in the electronic health record system.
- Assist with other patient care duties as assigned by the medical team.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements and techniques in ECG technology and cardiac diagnostics.
