Job Description
Role Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Electroencephalographic (EEG) Technician to join our team. This role will be responsible for conducting EEG tests to monitor and record brain activity, primarily for employee wellness programs and occupational health assessments within our retail operations. The technician will ensure accurate data collection and maintain a safe and comfortable environment for participants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform electroencephalographic (EEG) recordings according to established protocols.
- Prepare patients for EEG procedures, including explaining the process and ensuring their comfort.
- Apply electrodes to the scalp using appropriate conductive materials.
- Monitor patient's condition during the test and respond to any adverse reactions.
- Operate and maintain EEG equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
- Record and document test results accurately, including any relevant observations.
- Assist in the interpretation of EEG data by preparing reports for review by medical professionals.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with HR and occupational health teams to ensure effective employee wellness assessments.
