Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Electroencephalographic Technician with a Doctorate/PhD to join our research team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in conducting and analyzing electroencephalographic (EEG) studies, with a strong background in neuroscience or a related field. This role will involve advanced data acquisition, signal processing, and interpretation of EEG data for groundbreaking research projects within our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, set up, and conduct complex EEG experiments, ensuring adherence to ethical guidelines and research protocols.
- Operate and maintain advanced EEG equipment, including high-density EEG systems and specialized recording devices.
- Acquire, process, and analyze raw EEG data using sophisticated software and statistical methods.
- Interpret EEG findings in the context of research hypotheses, contributing to the understanding of neurological processes.
- Collaborate with principal investigators and other researchers to develop research methodologies and troubleshoot experimental challenges.
- Prepare detailed reports, manuscripts for publication, and presentations of research findings.
- Mentor junior technicians and research assistants, providing guidance on EEG procedures and data analysis.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in EEG technology, neuroscience research, and relevant analytical techniques.
