Role Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a Master of Design (M.Des) degree to join our team as an Employee Health and Safety Management professional. This role is crucial in ensuring a safe and healthy working environment within our fast-paced clinical research operations. The ideal candidate will leverage their design thinking and analytical skills to develop, implement, and monitor health and safety protocols, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement innovative health and safety programs tailored to the specific needs of a clinical research environment.
Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses, translating findings into actionable safety measures and design solutions.
Design and deliver engaging health and safety training materials and workshops for employees at all levels.
Investigate incidents and near misses, identifying root causes and recommending preventive strategies.
Ensure compliance with all relevant national and local health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a proactive safety culture and address employee well-being.
Utilize design thinking principles to create user-friendly safety signage, guidelines, and procedures.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety initiatives, suggesting improvements based on data and feedback.
