Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Employee Health & Safety Trainer to join our team at Vedanta Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, delivering, and evaluating comprehensive health and safety training programs to ensure a safe working environment across all our Indian operations. This role is crucial in fostering a strong safety culture and minimizing workplace risks.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and update health and safety training materials, including presentations, manuals, and practical exercises, tailored to the specific needs of the mining and metals industry.
Deliver engaging and effective training sessions to employees at all levels, covering topics such as hazard identification, risk assessment, emergency procedures, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and safe work practices.
Conduct on-site safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and post-training performance monitoring.
Maintain accurate training records and documentation.
Stay updated on the latest health and safety regulations, industry best practices, and emerging trends.
Promote a proactive safety culture through communication, engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives.
