Job Description
Role Summary: This role is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to assess and manage insurance risks associated with the energy and mining sectors for our Indian operations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within these industries and be able to translate this knowledge into effective insurance solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth risk assessments for energy (oil, gas, power generation, renewables) and mining projects and operations in India.
- Analyze market trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements impacting the energy and mining insurance landscape.
- Develop tailored insurance products and coverage solutions for clients in these sectors.
- Collaborate with underwriting teams to ensure accurate pricing and policy terms.
- Manage relationships with key clients, brokers, and industry stakeholders.
- Provide technical expertise and support to sales and claims teams.
- Monitor and report on the performance of the energy and mining insurance portfolio.
- Stay abreast of global best practices and emerging risks in the energy and mining insurance domain.
