Engine Fitter / Welder

Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Engine Fitter / Welder to join our operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing welding and fitting tasks related to the maintenance and repair of company vehicles and equipment, ensuring operational efficiency and safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform various welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick) on different types of metals.
- Fit and assemble metal components according to specifications and blueprints.
- Inspect and test welds for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
- Maintain and repair engines, machinery, and other mechanical equipment.
- Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and specifications.
- Operate welding equipment and hand/power tools safely and effectively.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on welding and fitting equipment.
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other mechanics and technicians to complete repair and maintenance tasks.
