Engineering Manager

Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of engineering projects within our petrochemical and plastics division, ensuring alignment with company objectives, safety standards, and quality benchmarks. This role requires a strong leader with a proven track record in project management and a deep understanding of chemical engineering principles and plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Manage the entire lifecycle of engineering projects, from conceptualization and feasibility studies to detailed design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.
- Ensure all engineering activities comply with national and international safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
- Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure successful project delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, R&D, procurement, and maintenance, to achieve project goals.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in engineering processes, methodologies, and technologies.
- Oversee the technical integrity and reliability of plant equipment and infrastructure.
- Prepare and present project status reports, technical documentation, and performance metrics to senior management.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring timely resolution of technical challenges.
