Role Summary:
Bata India Limited is seeking a versatile and innovative Engineering professional to join our dynamic team. This role will involve contributing to various engineering projects across our manufacturing and operational facilities, focusing on process improvement, equipment maintenance, and new technology integration within the leather and footwear production ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering principles and their application in a large-scale manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement engineering solutions for production challenges.
- Oversee and participate in the maintenance, repair, and upgrade of manufacturing machinery and equipment.
- Develop and execute testing procedures for new equipment and production processes.
- Analyze production data to identify areas for efficiency improvement and cost reduction.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards in all engineering activities.
- Research and recommend new technologies and automation solutions to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and project proposals.
- Provide technical support and training to production staff.
