Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Engineering Supervisor with 2-4 years of experience and a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree to join our dynamic team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of the engineering department, ensuring efficient maintenance, repair, and installation of plant machinery and equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of technical processes and a commitment to safety and quality standards within a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and guide a team of technicians and engineers, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
- Oversee the maintenance, repair, and installation of all plant machinery and equipment, adhering to strict schedules.
- Implement and monitor preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize equipment lifespan.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and develop effective solutions for mechanical, electrical, and automation problems.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, environmental policies, and quality standards.
- Manage spare parts inventory and procurement processes for engineering supplies.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure seamless operations and address any engineering-related concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and repair logs.
- Assist in the planning and execution of engineering projects, including upgrades and new installations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering department.
