Environmental Consultant

Role Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Environmental Consultant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring our operations comply with all environmental regulations, developing and implementing environmental management strategies, and driving sustainability initiatives within our iron and steel manufacturing processes. This role is crucial for maintaining our commitment to environmental stewardship and responsible industrial practices.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct environmental impact assessments (EIAs) for new projects and expansions.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with national and state environmental laws and regulations (e.g., CPCB, SPCB guidelines).
- Develop and implement environmental management systems (EMS) aligned with ISO 14001 standards.
- Oversee waste management, pollution control (air, water, soil), and hazardous material handling.
- Identify opportunities for environmental improvement and resource conservation.
- Prepare and submit environmental reports to regulatory bodies.
- Liaise with government agencies, consultants, and stakeholders on environmental matters.
- Develop and deliver environmental training programs for employees.
- Stay updated on emerging environmental technologies and best practices in the steel industry.
- Manage environmental audits and inspections.
