Environmental Engineer Job Opportunity - Auto Components

Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Engineer with 1-3 years of experience to join our team in Kochi. The ideal candidate will hold an M.Tech degree and be responsible for ensuring our manufacturing operations comply with all environmental regulations and promoting sustainable practices within the automotive component industry. This role involves active participation in developing and implementing environmental management systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all local, state, and national environmental regulations and permits.
- Conduct environmental impact assessments for new projects and processes.
- Develop, implement, and maintain environmental management systems (e.g., ISO 14001).
- Manage waste management programs, including hazardous and non-hazardous waste disposal.
- Oversee wastewater treatment and air emission control systems.
- Conduct regular environmental audits and inspections.
- Investigate environmental incidents and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare and submit environmental reports to regulatory agencies.
- Train employees on environmental policies and procedures.
- Identify opportunities for pollution prevention and resource conservation.
