Job Description

Role Summary:
We are seeking an Environmental Officer with a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree and 4-6 years of experience to join our team in Jaipur. The Environmental Officer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, developing and implementing environmental policies, and promoting sustainable practices within the organization. This role requires a strong understanding of environmental laws, financial reporting, and data analysis, leveraging your B.Com background to manage environmental budgets and track sustainability metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor and ensure compliance with all applicable environmental laws, regulations, and permits at the local, state, and national levels.
- Develop, implement, and manage environmental policies, procedures, and programs to minimize environmental impact.
- Conduct regular environmental audits and inspections to identify potential risks and areas for improvement.
- Prepare and submit environmental reports, including sustainability performance metrics and compliance documentation, to regulatory bodies and internal management.
- Manage environmental budgets, track expenses related to environmental initiatives, and analyze financial data to assess the cost-effectiveness of sustainability projects.
- Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., Operations, Facilities Management, HR) to integrate environmental considerations into business processes.
- Organize and deliver environmental awareness training programs for employees.
- Investigate environmental incidents, recommend corrective actions, and ensure their implementation.
- Stay updated on emerging environmental trends, technologies, and best practices, and advise on their potential adoption.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and community groups, on environmental matters.
