Environmental Officer

Role Summary:
Zomato is seeking a dedicated Environmental Officer to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and promote sustainable practices across its operations. This role will focus on minimizing the environmental impact of our food delivery and restaurant services, contributing to Zomato's commitment to corporate social responsibility and environmental stewardship.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all applicable environmental laws, regulations, and permits.
- Develop and implement environmental policies and procedures to reduce waste, emissions, and energy consumption.
- Conduct regular environmental audits and site inspections to identify potential risks and areas for improvement.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling programs for Zomato's facilities and delivery operations.
- Investigate environmental incidents and develop corrective action plans.
- Prepare and submit environmental reports to regulatory agencies.
- Educate and train employees on environmental best practices and sustainability initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to promote eco-friendly solutions.
- Stay updated on emerging environmental trends and technologies relevant to the food delivery industry.
