We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Officer to join our team at The Park Hotels in Bangalore. This role is ideal for an early-career professional with 1-3 years of experience and an Any Graduate degree, passionate about environmental sustainability within the hospitality sector. The Environmental Officer will be responsible for implementing and monitoring environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance and promote eco-friendly operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of environmental management systems (EMS) across hotel operations.
- Monitor and report on key environmental performance indicators, including waste management, energy consumption, and water usage.
- Conduct regular environmental audits and inspections to identify potential risks and areas for improvement.
- Support the training of staff on environmental policies and best practices.
- Research and recommend new technologies and strategies for enhancing sustainability and reducing environmental impact.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant local, state, and national environmental regulations.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to environmental performance and compliance.
