Job Description
Role Summary: We are seeking a motivated Equipment Management Associate with 1-3 years of experience and a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree to join our team in Delhi. This role will be responsible for supporting the efficient operation and maintenance of laboratory and production equipment within our biotechnology facilities. You will play a crucial part in ensuring equipment availability, compliance, and optimal performance to support our research and manufacturing activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning, scheduling, and execution of routine maintenance and calibration activities for various scientific equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance history, service requests, and inventory.
- Support the procurement process for new equipment and spare parts, including vendor coordination and documentation.
- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and coordinate with external service providers for repairs and complex maintenance.
- Ensure adherence to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) related to equipment management.
- Participate in equipment validation and qualification processes as required.
- Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct safety checks and ensure all equipment is operated in a safe and compliant manner.
- Assist in managing equipment inventory and asset tagging.
