Equipment Management Specialist

Role Summary: The Equipment Management Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the procurement, deployment, maintenance, and disposal of all IT and office equipment for our growing BPO operations in India. This role is crucial for ensuring operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with company policies and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the entire lifecycle of IT assets, including desktops, laptops, servers, networking equipment, and peripherals.

Develop and implement procurement strategies for new equipment, ensuring competitive pricing and timely delivery.

Oversee the installation, configuration, and deployment of new equipment across various office locations.

Maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory of all company-owned equipment, including serial numbers, asset tags, and location.

Coordinate regular maintenance, repairs, and upgrades for all equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.

Develop and enforce policies and procedures for equipment usage, security, and data protection.

Manage the disposal of obsolete or damaged equipment in an environmentally responsible and compliant manner.

Liaise with vendors and service providers for equipment procurement, maintenance, and support.

Prepare regular reports on equipment status, inventory, costs, and performance to senior management.
